Fees and costs
Insured Patients
Mr Chaloner and Mr Sweeney are registered with all the main insurance companies and charge within industry standard fees. Sometimes your policy may not cover the entire cost of treatment and you will be obliged to settle a proportion of the costs yourself. It is important to get the approval of your health insurance company before treatment – we can help with this if there are any difficulties.
Self-pay Patients
Your initial 30-minute consultation and assessment will cost £200. Having decided on a treatment plan, we will be able to give you a clear indication of cost on a ‘fixed price’ package, depending on what treatment is needed and your preference for the method of anaesthesia. As a rough guide, treatment for one leg is approximately £2,500-£2,800. For both legs approximately £3,800-£4,000. Follow up treatment with sclerotherapy is not included in this price
Thread vein injections cost £200 per session. The number of sessions depend on the number of veins you have. Most patients will need between two and four sessions to get a decent result although patients with a lot of veins may need 8 or 10 visits.
